All you need to do is complete the form below and choose the level of donation you would like to go with your membership. Your membership donation will go directly into the Restricted Funds of the Lakeside Wooden Boat Society. As a member, you will be offered opportunities to become an active volunteer and to join in the fellowship of the organization. If you would prefer, you can also download the LWBS Membership Application and submit it through the mail. Classic wooden boats are exhibited on the lawn of Hotel Lakeside and the dock, weather permitting.

The Lakeside wooden boat Society was established in 2005. The mission of LWBS was inspired by the role of wooden boats in Lakeside Chautauqua’s history, the art and beauty of wooden boat construction and the passion of Lakeside Chautauqua wooden boat owners. Today, the development and health of the lakefront are important parts of their mission.

Steve’s passion for wooden boats along with his experience really shows in his work. We are able to fit boats of up to 30′ in length into our shop, and no job up to that length is too big or too small. From a simple scratch repair to a full restoration, LRWB is dedicated to helping you experience the fullest enjoyment and confidence in your wooden boat.
