There are two power settings on the Shark Rockets – Standard and Boost. The vacuum always defaults to Standard power and a trigger that you pull engages Boost power. You have to keep the trigger pulled to keep Boost power on .
If you’ve cleaned the dust cup and replaced the filter inside, the vacuum hose might have a tear in it. Use the hose replacement guide to replace it if you find a hole.
