Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Blushed Each

If we can count on TikTok for anything, it’s determining which beauty products are worth the hype. When Revlon’s Super Lustrous Glass Lip Shine took everyone’s #FYP by storm, it was because the lipstick formula was unique and unexpected. Now, there are over 85 million views under the #revlonglasshine hashtag. Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks in the shades “coral berry” and “siren” are great for daily use. While “coral berry” flatters fair to medium skin tones, “siren” looks great on darker skin tones.

First of all – this is a $5-6 dollar lipstick and a fabulous deal for such a phenomenal berry shade. Application is a bit tough as it tugs at my lips, but I was able to work around it. I’m not going to complain about it considering the cost of the lipstick.

Want to know whether these are worth the hype? The packaging of this lipstick is pretty basic. It’s a black tube with a golden ring at the center. Its top is transparent, and you can see the color of the shade through the top. The shade name and its finish are mentioned on the bottom of the lipstick.

The advantage of being synthetic is that it has a more consistent quality, fewer impurities and an even lower heavy metal content than Mica (not that Mica’s heavy metal content is high). It is also more transparent and has improved light reflection. No, Revlon as a brand does not use lead in any of its products. This means that the Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks are lead-free. Featuring a nourishing blend of aloe, hyaluronic acid and rose quartz, the lipstick glides on lips with a buttery-soft feel for a sleek glossy colour. I love the Super Lustrous line, this one it’s a pretty color.

I tried a few shades, and I’m going to give you a detailed review of the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick. I absolutely love the cream formula of the Super Lustrous, but not on this color. Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick is infused with silk and vitamins for smooth, conditioning color. In a dazzling array of fabulous, fashionable shades.

In this case, mica is coated with one or more metal oxides (most commonly titanium dioxide) to achieve pearl effect via the physical phenomenon known as interference. A synthetic liquid oil that can replace mineral oil or silicone oils in the cosmetic revlon lipstick formulas. There are different grades depending on the molecular weight ranging from very light, volatile, non-residue leaving ones to more substantial, slight residue leaving ones. Polyethylene is the most common plastic in the world.

Obviously is sheer and shine because of the type of lipstick, so keep that in mind. Beautiful color, comfortable to wear and it longs more than 5 hours without touch up. It’s a great color, but I hated the revlon lipstick finish and wear. It was too slippery and greasy, and the color migrated to the outside of my lips. Within a couple hours I had a brownish red ring on the outside of my lips and no color anywhere else.

It sets so well on my lips and it goes well with my skin tone. Out of all the reds in the Super Lustrous line, I feel like this red is the MOST blue based red (which I typically go for). The other ones in the line seem to be kind of bright and orangey. But Certainly Red is darker and more bluer. Even though I feel like it’s the more bluer red, it’s not the bluest shade of red I’m looking for. The day Revlon Super Lustrous comes out with a more blue based red (like MAC Russian Red), will be the day I stop using this one and use that one instead.
