With respect only, I wanted to clarify each Canadian Provice maintains their own regulations regarding winter tires and currently in Ontario, Canada there is no law making it mandatory to use winter tires. There are certain cities, such as Toronto, which have their own by-laws regarding Private Transportation Companies (Lyft, Uber) but these regulations do not apply to personal motor vehicles.
