More handy features of the Sun Joe SPX3000 pressure washer are the dual detergent tanks, which allow you to use two different types of detergent – each suited to different kinds of cleaning jobs. Both of the tanks are easily removable too so that you can fill them up or wash them out with ease. A pressure washer makes fast work of big cleaning projects (and small ones, too). Because water sprays from a washer’s nozzle with such intensity, it can lift up and remove dirt, mildew, and grime that a regular garden hose simply can’t handle.
The cord storage is positioned very low, and with a 35-foot cord, wrapping up the entire length takes a while. Additionally, there’s so much cord that it just barely fits around the “horns” that you’re meant to wrap the cord around. It’s such a long (and annoying) process that we had to fully crouch down to avoid the onset of back pain when we tried to do this from a bent-over position.

Overall, the SPX3000 doesn’t have the fit and finish of the AR Blue Clean or even our Ryobi 2000 PSI pressure washers. It doesn’t have the roll cage like the Ryobi or the nicer rubberized wheels and spray gun like the AR Blue Clean. The power adaptor is a two-pronged plug not a three-pronged grounded plug. With that said, in our experience plastic can last just as long as metal and it has a good 2-year warranty to back it up. It ships with five nozzles (0º, 15º, 25º, 40º and soap), two soap tanks, gun/wand.
A pressure washer can make these jobs quicker and easier and also save water compared to using a regular hose. The wand stores securely on the unit, but there is no good place to store the 20-foot hose. We tried coiling it on the back or hanging it on the front, and it consistently fell off. The same applies to the 35-foot electrical cord, which doesn’t hang well on the unit. Operating the sun joe electric mower was so easy that even my teens and tweens could do it. The wand is lightweight, and the pressure is not so strong that you lose control over it.
