The “frame” barely stayed together on the ground. Any attempt to lift a corner and insert a leg pole resulted in pipes flying everywhere. I thought of resorting to duct tape, but since ozark trail chairs I had none handy, with great finesse I managed to lift each corner one pipe segment at a time. Some middle sections fell out but I had a standing frame of sorts, swaying and wobbling.
An item is in good overall condition. The item may be missing the original packaging or protective wrapping, or might be in the original packaging but not sealed. It occurred to me that if I insist on inviting people into a blazing Mojave inferno in the height of the summer it would be polite to provide some shade. Shade can be a matter of survival there if you’re outside at midday. Then I started having other wild fantasies, like effectively adding a room to the desert shack where I live by erecting the shadehouse in the backyard. We love the size of the tent and we used it for a week with no problems. The second time we set it up one of the poles snapped and now I can’t find where I can get replacement poles.
Queen Bee has been one of my favorite pages to follow! A friend kept sharing her deals so I had to start following and I’m so glad I did. I have been able to purchase so many items at great prices because of her posts. She is great about commenting back to questions or even just saying thanks to people who let her know they picked up an item she posted! The Ozark Trail Screen House is 13 feet long and nine feet wide, with a standing space that tops out at seven feet high.
We put it back in the bag and said this is so stupid. How do you get a tent with no instructions. Hard to set up for one person. It take 2 people at least to set this screen house up.
But for the most part we like it and take both of them camping with every time we go. I think you need to do some redesign on the doors, make them longer or something. I bought two of these tents new last year from a yard sale.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have large screen house and I love it. It gets used very hard every summer. It’s starting to wear out and I’m looking to replace but can’t find one anywhere.
Yes, I know it will, so what gives? A Pavlovian reaction to super-size doses of advertising? Greed, optimism, stinginess, and materialistic guilt thrashing together in a dance of futility that leads straight to the checkout counter? To make matters worse, sometimes I’m so ashamed of the purchase that I can’t even bring myself to return it. Anyone have spare parts for sale?
If anyone has a hub gable or #1 Roof pole, I would be interested in buying those parts. I loved the size of this screen house but after a few uses, the 4-way hub gable ozark trail screen house cracked and a couple of the curved roof poles bent a little. We’ve had this piece of garbage for 2 years now and haven’t been able to use it since we purchased it.
