For a cheap and cheerful tent this served me and my daughter perfectly for 12 nights this August. So I called the company requesting new poles and a month later I have yet to see my new poles. I could make a better shelter out of cardboard boxes and scotchgard. Also using a ground cover under the tent (seems obvious to me) will help prevent water from coming in from the underside of the tent.
I’m looking into getting a small tent for my first camping excursion. However, I know that I don’t truly want to sink $100 into a tent. There’s a $30 Ozark Trail (Walmart brand) tent that I’ve been looking at and I wanted to know if anyone had any reviews on what their tents are like as I can’t seem to find anything online.
Thread the stakes through the tent pole sleeves that are sewn into the seams of the tent body. Center the poles so that the tent resembles a spider’s web. It’s a cool tent all around, but our favorite feature has to be the 360-degree views delivered courtesy of this yurt’s giant mesh windows. There are three of these large floor-level windows along the walls of the tent, plus the giant mesh doorway that can be left open in good weather.
The picture shows you that the screen room’s door is the double size and an inverted T-shape. The other two doors on the other rooms are normal size but also very tall. One of its great features is the front screen room which you can see in the picture below.
Bend each pole into an arch and secure it at the corners of the tent at ground level by placing the tent pole into the pin ring. Connect the snap-quick clips to the ozark trail chair tent poles to give the tent shape. Over the past 4 years that I’ve started to get back into camping, I’ve bought 14 different Coleman tents, and used all of them.
And that is you will never be dry in one because they suck bad. Only complaint was the zipper hangs on the front ozark trail canopy door flap, destroyed flap and zipper. Not sure what season our tents were but, we had to get 4 of them.
