Schwinn Voyageur Hub-Drive e-bike refurbished

For commuters and people who run errands, that’s not always going to be the case. When you think about EVs, you probably (rightly) think of cars. But there’s another class of EV that might have slipped below your radar, but which has transformed my summer in very unexpected ways. The bike was schwinn dealers provided by Schwinn for the purposes of the review. Keep in mind that e-bikes are built for all different types of riders, from casual cruisers to high-octane adventurers. Also know that there are bikes equipped with features that are specifically designed for kids, women, and older riders.

It’s a planetary geared design by Protanium and it offers good torque while keeping weight down. The motor is quiet during operation and blends in with the rest of the bike. I did notice some speed wobbles at higher speeds when riding with no-hands (be careful not to let this get out of control or you may crash).

The battery meter is comprised of five segments to give you an estimate of how much power you have left. Before we get into the e-bike itself, I want to take a moment to talk about e-bike ownership and what it has meant for me. I mentioned the shunning of my trusty Trek bike in lieu of my e-bikes this summer, but the reason for that has been life-changing for me.

There was a cruiser style frame and the city commuter “World” setup you see here. Although it is becoming harder to find, many of these are still on the road with their original high quality Lithium Polymer battery packs. In my opinion it’s a great setup with everything you need to cruise around town running errands. It’s also great for commuting to work where you can easily remove the battery pack for a quick charge before heading home.

But Schwinn knows many riders want to go farther, so we developed higher capacity batteries that are super easy to install (you’ll only need a screwdriver). These additional batteries extend the riding distance up to 80 miles on both our Coston and Marshall series of bikes. One of the valid concerns raised by riders of e-bikes is the ability schwinn dealers of their e-bikes to hold a charge and provide pedal assistance when they’re out for rides of longer distances. Go faster than last year (and the year before that!) with one of our zippy electric bikes. E-bikes put extra power behind every pedal so you can ride further, faster, and over steeper hills on your journey to health and happiness.

That adds a nice nighttime glow to the bike to give you better side visibility – an area where most bikes are lacking. Another consideration to keep in mind when choosing an e-bike (or any bike for schwinn beach cruiser that matter) is your height. Schwinn has electric bikes that fit riders from 4’8″ all the way up to those who are 6’4″. We can’t stress enough how critical it is to choose the right-sized bike.

I’ve been using an electric bike and a shoulder bag for most of my shopping “can you grab me XYZ from Target” runs. The bike should have an estimated range of 18 miles without pedalling. When it comes to buying things in the 21st century, we seem to have an embarrassment of riches. Luckily, it doesn’t have to be an exhaustive and daunting task to pick the best electric bike.

So if you’re using liberal throttle, keep in mind that you’re going to wind up with limited range. Whether you’re commuting, exploring new trails, tooling around town, or all of the above, a sport hybrid e-bike can handle it all. Schwinn e-bikes deliver the same great riding experience with the addition of pedal assist motors and rechargeable batteries that let you roam farther than ever before.
