Schwinn 700c Ingersol Electric Bike Bikes

If it’s a bright night and you just want some visibility, the bottom lights work well. Otherwise, the headlight is adjustable to your preference, and the rear light is built into the fender itself. The Coston e-bike comes with a typical brick-on-a-string charger that plugs into a normal 110v outlet. You can plug the battery in while it’s inside the bike, or you can use an included key to remove the battery from the bike for charging. Upway offers you to select if you would like to receive your bike either 85% assembled or 99% assembled.

Considering the relatively low price point aftermarket lights are something that could be added easily later on. Powering this bike is a 26.6 volt 10 amp hour battery pack that uses Lithium Polymer cells. For the time period it was released, this was a pretty awesome battery and that shines true today with bikes still on the road.

The frame is also designed to be lighter for easier handling, and includes wider tires for extra stability. Examples of this style include both the Coston DX and Mendocino Step-Thru models. When I pedaled hard, the bike was able to get up to 20 mph in about 10 seconds on smooth, flat surfaces. Pedaling uphill was a bit different, maxing out at roughly 15 mph. Lighter people may be able to get it going a bit faster, though (I weigh 250 pounds for context).

I’ve put bicycles together on my own in the past and tend to be good at putting the bigger pieces together correctly like the handlebars, wheels, pedals, and so on. The part I have the most trouble with is the fine-tuning, which is one of the most important aspects of the set-up process. But even the mid- to low-end Shimano parts are perfectly fine for this level of bike. The Schwinn EC1 is one of those simple e-bikes that can reliably bring a smile to your face.

It was such a joy to ride around and truly turned me in favor of e-bikes (something I never thought possible). Instead of fumbling with it myself, I go to my favorite local bike shop, Spin Bicycle Shop, in Lansing, schwinn electric bike Michigan. For $70, the shop put my new Schwinn e-bike together and offered to make any tweaks after I rode it for a little bit. We do not cover parts purchased and labor performed by another bike shop.
