Genesis bikes became renowned for their use of steel tubing and ethos for function over form. Due to its popularity, Genesis became a label in its own right in 2006. We ask that you return your bike to the same place it was purchased. If bought at an outside retailer, be sure to have your receipt. If bought on our website, please have your order number on hand.
A rim brake version is available in addition to the disc option and both come with Shimano Ultegra 2×11 groupsets. The maximum tyre size on bike is 28c, genesis bicycles typical for rim brake set ups but relatively narrow for a bike with discs. But for races that are solely on roads, this should be more than adequate.
The aluminium frame is cheaper, although the fork is still carbon. Disc brakes remain present, but they have been changed to mechanical rather than hydraulic.
