A Cooler Test Coleman vs Ozark Trail vs. YETI

What is more, it is available in 20 different colors, so it’s pretty safe to say that there’s a color variant for everyone. One particular thing I have to point out about this model is that, out of all the travel mugs I ever reviewed, this one has a shape that is most similar to a regular coffee mug. The budget-friendly alternative to Yeti’s popular Rambler tumbler is called Ozark Trail 30 oz. Due to its lower price, I expected this tumbler to sport poorer construction quality and performance, and…I was wrong.

To achieve the extremely attractive price point that they did, Ozark Trail likely had to sacrifice a few things in the quality department. The result is a cooler that doesn’t have quite the level of fit and finish as, say, a Yeti or an Engel.

This is one of the problems I had with my Yeti cooler so it’s nice to see Ozark thinking about this. While the ozark trail canopy has a solid build construction, overall it looks and feels like a much cheaper product to the Yeti. I do think that overall the Yeti is a much better cooler with better ice retention and better build quality. Regardless, the Ozark cooler just doesn’t seem to perform as well as other roto-molded coolers in ice retention tests. Not many roto-molded coolers come with wheels and the ones that do are quite expensive. On my list of wheeled coolers like Yeti you can see that there aren’t many good options.

It has anti-microbial properties and it’s strong enough that a bear can’t break into it. The lower-end can models take a very traditional approach in styling. Also, there aren’t a lot of colors to choose from (3 is the maximum we have found for a particular model).

It also has lots of nifty features for versatility, from a waterproof interior light that can be removed for use as a flashlight to multiple tie-down points. Several weeks ago ozark trail chair we finally purchased an Ozark Trail 52-Quart High-Performance Cooler from Walmart. I was so excited to get it home and run a test to see if it really holds ice longer than my Coleman 60 Quart Performance Wheeled Cooler.
