Ozark Trail 30 F Mummy Sleeping Bag NEW

On one of the hottest days, the remote sensor reported temperatures exceeding 107 Degrees Fahrenheit while the air temp was in the high 80’s. I spend a great deal of time on the water every summer boating and fishing in Northern Michigan. I will often load a large cooler up at the beginning of the week and leave it on my Pontoon packed with drinks and ice.

I was in a large tent (admittedly, a smaller tent would have been better) with one other person. I had to add a fleece sleeping bag for more insulation. And every time you move your feet you get to hear the crinkle of the fabric on the bottom. Yeti has clearly set themselves apart as the biggest player in the cooler space. Since they launched, they have carved out an incredible market share delivering products across the board from coolers to dog bowls.

I won’t ever buy an expensive sleeping bag after carrying this cheapo, unless I can find a cheap bag that weighs a lot less. I cannot believe that I wasted 160 dollars on some junk. By the time we got back from camping the next weekend three out of four sleeping bags had the zippers broken. I’m so disappointed with this product that I advise anyone buying sleeping bags not to even look at Ozark and buy Coleman instead.

The bag on its own is very comfortable down to the 30-degree range. With the return of the colder weather, it is time to pull out our winter sleeping bags. Mummy bags are very effective for keeping warm, but I am not comfortable in a confining bag. I purchased this sleeping bag for warm weather camping trips at the local lake.

For fifteen dollars I wasn’t expecting (or needing) anything that would stand up to freezing weather. Unfortunately the workmanship was more than a little upsetting, even for that price. I notice this isn’t the first review with this complaint. The zipper broke on my warm weather bag on the second night out.

It is water resistant, but not waterproof, and it stores extremely well. When it’s in the compression sack it comes with, it’s about 12 inches tall and 5 inches wide. The Ozark Trail cooler is made from polyethylene, which is the most common kind of plastic in use today. The coolers remained in the same location for the duration of ozark trail canopy the 6 day test, only being opened to snap daily progress pictures. As far as color options go, you can purchase this in one of two colors, Greystone which is the one featured in this article and a lighter grey. The constant color feature among the two are the orange rimmed wheels which I don’t love but, it is not a deal breaker.

When sleeping beneath the stars on your camping adventure, stay warm on chilly nights with the Ozark Trail 10F Mummy Sleeping Bag. An ultra-durable, polyester outer shell and water-repellant finish make this adult-size sleeping bag stain- and moisture-resistant, ideal for backpacking and hiking trips. The mummy-shaped design with chest baffle provides optimal thermal insulation and is approved for temperatures as low as 10 degrees Fahrenheit. It protects your head and shoulders from the elements and boasts a roomy, tapered shape that provides extra warmth and comfort while sleeping outdoors. An added interior stash pocket offers a safe place to keep your valuables nearby. For the best nights sleep while camping, pack the Ozark Trail 10F Mummy Sleeping Bag and you’ll be ready to hit the trail right when the sun rises.

Made with soft polyester, the outer layer being a diamond ripstop material, the bag is both comfortable and durable. The zippers are sturdy, with no problems in the two years we have used them. I would not recommend this product to anyone unless I wanted them to freeze and get a terrible night’s sleep. I nearly froze to death on the trail, and craftsmanship is garbage (to put it mildly).
