Critique of Ozark Trails 40 degree bag Wally World Archive

I think the expensive bags are just marketing and overengineering, unless you are going to the arctic. I was on a budget so I figured I would go with a less expensive bag. I got in the bag, tried to zip it and the zipper tore immediately.

Stay cozy even on the coldest nights of your camping or hiking trips with the Everest Mummy Sleeping Bag, +5F/-15C Degree. This sleeping bag I always sleep in @ night @ home because I like it better than a regular blanket. It is terribly heavy for backpacking and definitely not rated correctly.

Pairing these strategies together made it reasonably comfortable at that temperature. The bag on its own is very comfortable down to the 30-degree ozark trail sleeping bag range. With the return of the colder weather, it is time to pull out our winter sleeping bags. Shopping for sleeping bags is overwhelming.

If you just can’t afford a better bag…DO NOT GO OUT IN COLD WEATHER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. The only way you would sleep well in this bag is if you are under 5’5″ and very slender and use it summer nights or maybe push it to early fall. I would not recommend this product to anyone unless I wanted them to freeze and get a terrible night’s ozark trail canopy sleep. I nearly froze to death on the trail, and craftsmanship is garbage (to put it mildly). I used this bag two nights last weekend and found it was too cold on its own—lowest temp was 51 degrees each of those nights. It’s easy to use, and has an inside zipper pocket, anti-snag zipper, full neck baffle, and ClimaTech fiber for warmth.

The Ozark Trail 40-60F Sleeping Bag is highly durable, as it is lined with 100% polyester fabric both on the inside and outside. This polyester sleeping bag features two sleeping bags that can be zipped together. The zippers come along the whole length of the sleeping bag, ensuring ozark trail backpack you safety from insect bite or frost bite. This washable sleeping bag also has elastic roll-up straps that help you to fold and store it easily. We have stayed nicely warm while sleeping in the cold in this bag. Rated for 30-degrees, we have slept in it down to 13.

However, I used this bag two nights last weekend and found it was too cold on its own—lowest temp was 51 degrees each of those nights. I was in a large tent (admittedly, a smaller tent would have been better) with one other person. I had to add a fleece sleeping bag for more insulation. Not only is it harsh to the touch, but noisy too. And every time you move your feet you get to hear the crinkle of the fabric on the bottom. The bag uses Climatech fill, a down alternative, making it very light.
