UPC 817427012475 Ozark Trail 14 x 10 10-Person Instant Cabin Tent 31 86 lbs

With a 44-square-foot vestibule, and 86 square feet of interior living space, the tent has plenty of room to house beds, cribs, gear, pets, and camping furniture. Zippered doors can enclose the vestibule fully, so it serves as a separate room for the tent, or you can leave one or both open, so the vestibule can act like a porch or mudroom. The main tent body has a giant front door that’s oriented to make entry and exit easy for all the tent’s occupants at night, and a smaller back window that doubles as a second door. After researching 30 six-person tents and testing 15 side by side on a total of five trips, we chose the Kelty Wireless 6 as the best entry-level camping tent for most families. It’s spacious, easy to set up, has weather protection, and is durable, all at an affordable price. The Wireless 6 lacks some of the premium materials found in pricier tents, but it features solid workmanship and should provide dependable, comfortable shelter in most three-season camping situations.

I think this is great for stargazing at night, or to look out during the day as well, and it’s also useful for more ventilation on hot summer days. Oh, and the poles are also starting to show signs of rust, which isn’t good. The 6-Person Dark Rest Instant Tent comes with a removable pocket organizer, and it’s supposed to be hung up on the back wall (the wall that doesn’t have a window). And on the outside of the tent, the rain flap from the outside will always get caught in the zipper track. First, it’s not very big, it has a length and width of just 46 by 36 inches.

The rain fly also uses transparent PVC for the skylight windows, which helps provide further waterproofing while allowing you to watch the rain. But there are actually quite a few different 8 person tents, all with their own features, and which one will be best for you depends a lot on what you’ll use it ozark trail shower tent for. They do not provide any info about its waterproof rating, but this is a tent with a minimal fly that covers the ceiling only. The windows and doors are with panels as mentioned above so you have all protection, but with so many zippers and windows, it is best to use it in areas without much rain.

Second, it measures just 46 inches from the ground to the top of the door, so you’re gonna have to do a whole lot of ducking to get in and out of this tent through this door. I’m not very tall myself, but even I did feel that I had to duck pretty low. Another minor con I noticed is that the top of the 2 side windows do not zip up, so this tent is definitely only for summer camping.

But of course, you’re sleeping like sardines, and there’s hardly any floor space leftover for gear. However, there was one thing I really didn’t like about this Dark Rest tent, and that’s the degrading of the blackout fabric. After just 1.5 years in storage, the dark rest tech started peeling off. That’s because the rainfly is so tiny, it doesn’t cover any of the windows at all. I put this Ozark Trail tent through only a very light rain test, and after just 15 minutes of this, I noticed that some of the rain had actually seeped into the fabric of the tent from the outside. It would have been a little quicker, if one, compression straps were provided to help get the tent down into a smaller size, and two, if the carry bag provided could have been a little bit bigger.

There is also a removable media pocket (shown below), and a large removable organizer with many pockets which you can hang on the wall without windows or just over the window as the picture shows. Take time to inspect your tent when you first get it (damages from shipping are common), and don’t ever “force” anything when setting up or tearing down your shelter. Livability describes the overall day-to-day experience of owning and using a tent, and tents that are more comfortable, convenient, and easy to use score the highest in terms of livability. While it doesn’t use the highest of quality materials, it does deliver in key areas that are important to campers.

This Ozark Trail 11-Person Instant Hexagon Cabin Tent sets up in under two minutes! This 11-person instant tent requires no assembly because the poles are pre-attached to the tent, just unfold and extend. Enjoy the panoramic views with the extra-large windows and shade porch.

In any case, I have included this tent in my list of tents with a screen room. The picture below shows how the tent is divided in two parts, the rooms are the same size, around 7 x 10 ft each. It rained for about an hour while I was using this Ozark Trail 10-Person Cabin Tent, with about 20 minutes of moderate rainfall and about 40 minutes of pretty light rain. For ventilation, this Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has a lot of mesh on the roof of the tent.

We assembled and disassembled the tents on all of our testing sites multiple times. We tried the rain fly for each tent as well, one time rushing to get several of them up during an unexpected rainstorm at night. When heavy trade winds buffeted our Oahu-coast testing site, we pitched each tent in full face of the blast. We then rotated the tents looking for structural weaknesses, and we tested their guy lines and tabs to see which tents had the best and most intuitive design for withstanding wind.
