As you can see from the photo, I still had foot cream, sunscreen, first aid cream, and Dawn Soap at the end of eight days. The floss is for size reference, but I’m looking for smaller floss containers. Whatever you use should be placed in your trash bag and carried out. I use an empty coffee bag for trash because it’s light and can be folded down to the size needed. The pack size and weight is good for all my day hiking to any shower. I’m not sure if it is durable enough to hold any of my camera equipment.
Using some lotion on the feet each night after cleaning also helps prevent blisters. Since portions of the Ozark Trail haven’t been built yet, our goal is to walk the finished sections. We began working our way from south to north with the Eleven ozark trail canopy Point, Between the Rivers, and Current River sections. For this hike, we’ll continue north on the Blair Creek, Karkaghen, and Middle Fork John Roth sections. It’s kind of a standing joke with me and my blue bag in Peru, Europe etc…
This pack fits me fine and is very comfortable for lightweight loads. It’s light enough that I don’t mind putting it in my backpack and it takes up almost no space at all. For day hikes this is just as good as (and lighter than) my Osprey Daylite that retails for almost four times more. There is a lack of reinforcement on the pack’s taffeta bottom, though. Shoulder straps are lightweight mesh-lined with very little padding. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to organize their daily essentials while on the go, whether for hiking or traveling. For more thorough cleaning, you can remove any removable parts such as shoulder straps, hip belts, and other accessories and wash them separately in cold water. To dry your pack, hang it up ensuring the seams and zippers are properly aligned, and allow it to air dry in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
I prefer to use my local outfitters, suppliers, and bookstores for most backpacking purchases. While this pack won’t work for everyone, it’s a practical size for day trips, light travelers, and kids.
