Ozark Trail Vtg Warmfoot Sleeping Bag 80″ x 32 25 built in pillow EUC

Ozark Trail is ideal for camping in cold weather. I haven’t been able to try it in the wild, but I have laid ozark trail sleeping bag in it in a cold garage. It was about 51F in the garage and I had the Nemo Cosmo Insulated 25L pad under it.

I first tried it in my underwear, socks, and a beanie. I’m kind of a warm sleeper and this was right on the border ozark trail sleeping bag of being good enough. After laying there for a bit, I put on my polypro top and bottom that I had from the Army.

Rated for 30-degrees, we have slept in it down to 13. The bag, by itself, is not very warm at that temperature. We layer a blanket between the sleeping pads and the sleeping bags for some extra insulation. When it is very cold I also use a comforter over the sleeping bags. We wear warm clothes to sleep in, including a beanie. Hand warmers in our socks and body warmers in our shirts are helpful as well.

The sleeping bag I now use is Ozark Trail. This sleeping bag I always sleep in @ night @ home because I like it better than a regular blanket. Not only is it harsh to the touch, but noisy too. And every time you move your feet you get to hear the crinkle of the fabric on the bottom.

I would not recommend this product to anyone unless I wanted them to freeze and get a terrible night’s sleep. I nearly froze to death on the trail, and craftsmanship is garbage (to put it mildly). Comes with pillows and side storage pockets. The bag uses Climatech fill, a down alternative, making it very light. The roomy bag, 33 inches wide by 75 inches long, rolls up to a compact 14 by 8 inches. Made with soft polyester, the outer layer being a diamond ripstop material, the bag is both comfortable and durable.
