Ozark Trail 14” x14” Instant Lighted Canopy As low as $ 80 0 UPC 817427018859

Not the seams, nor the floor, but every part of the walls and ceiling started dripping water. Poles are reported by other reviewers to break/snap easily. The only pole that broke on mine is the closet pole which I’m ordering another two of ozark trail backpack them through hdkglobal customer service. We remove the brim from the part and do a little bit of clean up. Normally this is where I need to go back and make adjustments to the measurements but this time it slides right on with a snug fit.

Then when I was airing it out after camping I went outside to discover the main pole had snapped in half. It wasn’t breezy, so I figured it must have been a freak accident. I still had my receipt, so I returned it to Walmart and exchanged it for a new one thinking this was just an unfortunate incident. It does become rather hot when the rain fly is on—I leave the rain fly off and house it under a  12’x12′ canopy—but that has an air vent so rain comes in. I tried putting the tent rain fly over the air vent in the canopy but now am buying a 20ft by 20ft tarp to put over the canopy.

What would have happened had we gone camping with the teenagers in there? I can’t imagine what kind of damage there would have been had we actually used it to camp. Sorry but it really is not worth the money or time.

The canopy fabric is made of a lightweight denier polyester, offering water resistant features and 50+ UPF, which we love. Being protected from the suns harmful UVB rays is probably why you wanted a canopy tent in the first place, and this Ozark Trail tent meets all criteria in this department. The one complaint we have is that there is no vents in the fabric at the peak to release the build up of hot air under the canopy. Most new tents incorporate this ventilated canopy design to increase airflow and reduce the trapping of hot air, helping to keep those in the shade cooler and more comfortable.

We think this is the biggest standout in relation to how different this model is to others on the market. Most versions at this price will stick to the really simple designs, with a complete lack of add-ons. While this model isn’t anything ground-breaking by any means, it’s still not oversimplified, and the vents are a prime example of that. Benzene has been used in the manufacturing of this product to meet CPAI-84 fabric fire retardant standards for the tent and canopy industries. With tents readily available to sleep two or more families, you can turn your camping excursion into an outing to remember. With 100ft² of ground space, multiple people can stand…

The ozark trail sleeping bag very well might be one of the best selling 10×10 tent brands of all time. The easily recognizable logo has been seen by nearly everyone at youth soccer tournaments or beach vacations in recent years. 2nd time out , it rained hard and oh guess what? 3rd time out (no rain or wind) broke the rear locker rod and 1 main pole on the 2nd day of a 3 day trip . I took the time to set it up before the camping event (which I highly recommend) and not only was it easy to set up, it worked well.

I thought that just the tent was a value, but it came with two chairs, two bags, and its own case that everything fits in. I got my tent from my sister for a birthday gift in February.

Getting our hands dirty with the top-rated 9×9 Neso Grande lightweight beach canopy tent. Overall, we think the Ozark Trail canopy serves its intended purpose – a value brand 10×10 instant shelter that caters to price conscious consumers looking for an affordable shade option. And compared to some of the tents in the EZ-Up lineup, it sells for almost a 70% discount. One could, in theory, purchase a new Ozark canopy every year (which they might need to!) and still come out ahead over the years vs. purchasing a more expensive alternative.

Also, the screened wall had a flaw in it allowing larger insects into the tent. The only good thing is that the poles have not broke yet and I automatically waterproofed it so I have had only 1 or 2 small leaks when it rained lightly. With the massive influx of instant canopies taking over the market, it can be hard to find one that lives up to its claims. In windy conditions high stress is applied to each side and the frame begins to break down at the unreinforced joint connectors. Bailing water out of my tent and putting up with the rain is not my idea of fun camping.

The legs are locked into place with old school metal push button locks, something you won’t see on many modern pop up tents now-a-days. These push locks get very difficult to use over time, especially if the tent is used on the beach and exposed to sand and saltwater, causing rust build up. Many newer tent brands like EZ-Up use revolutionary thumb lock sliders or larger easy to release buttons, which are a much better user experience when setting the canopy up or taking it down.
