I would recommend this bike if you are on a budget and need basic transportation for getting around because it does the job and serves its purpose. As far as cheap mountain bikes go, overall the Havoc Hyper FS mountain bike isn’t really all that bad. The suspension system that the Hyper mountain bike uses is very different to the typical suspension system that is used by many of the other hybrid road and mountain bikes. The suspension that the Hyper uses is actually called shock absorbers and they provide a very smooth ride over long distances on smooth surfaces. The main features that distinguish the Hyper bike from the other bikes are the fact that it has a full suspension system. The other bike that uses this system is the K-Edge road bike which has a triple triple-disc brake system on its front wheel and a fixed rear wheel.
It is well assembled (for the most part) and I don’t think the bike will break or disassemble on me while I ride it. It is an aluminum frame and the tag that was attached to the bike says that it can hold about 275 lbs or so. The Kick Stand for hyper bicycles is a useful piece of kit to have for any cyclist. In the summer months you will find that you are constantly going down hills.
If you have been a fan of hybrid bikes but are wanting to try something different there is no better choice than this new design. I would give this bike an 7/10 for durability and quality. I normally stand up, crank the gears up to a harder setting and peddle away so I don’t do much sitting, but if you prefer to sit down and peddle you will have a sore bum by the time you get home; in short, I recommend buying another seat.
