While this pack won’t work for everyone, it’s a practical size for day trips, light travelers, and kids. I’ve had this pack for 2 years and I’ve beaten the living daylights out of it and it still performs just as well as the day I bought it. I can’t think of a reason not to give it 5 stars. I priced other internal frame daypacks before my trip and this was by far the cheapest. I took this pack on a 5-day mountain bike ride from Pittsburgh, Pa., to Washington, D.C., and it performed very well.

The pack size and weight is good for all my day hiking to any shower. I’m not sure if it is durable enough to hold any of my camera equipment. It also includes loops to hang your trekking poles when not in use. I carried this daypack back n forth on a trail to the shower while camping. The bag stayed in place on my back using the sternum strap.

I normally don’t need it, but it does a good job at tightening up the bag up. They don’t work well, and they tend to get in the way. So, I end ozark trail canopy up carrying them when I don’t the poles. This hydration compatible backpack has a connection for a water bladder built in to the design.

It was completely full and with it properly fitted to my back it worked great and feels good on my back. After some research we realized they make backpacks designed for women, men and unisex. Because of her small frame we had her fitted for a woman’s bag at REI and she ended up getting an REI 22-liter clearance bag. I was fitted for a 45-liter bag since I needed to carry camera equipment, extra socks, knee sleeves, and extra supplies my wife didn’t need to deal with.
